Piper Day One

Adventure Location: Rockport, Texas

Piper and Mom made it home today. Both are doing well. Here is Piper in her one day old pose.

The OFM is over there on the couch practicing holding a baby again. He recalls that holding a baby is a good way of having tooooo much fun.

  1. What a sweet little girl! I wonder if Mom made the hat. (I am a knitter.). I like the kids' names. No Mary or John. Gavin and Piper. Can't wait for the pictures of you and the baby. With Gavin right there, of course. How long is the truck repair expected to take?

    1. Mom is a big time knitter. She made me a couple of sleep hats a few years ago when I needed them. I have no information on the truck repair yet. I plan on a phone call to the insurance company tomorrow. The repair shop says it will take five working days. Two days for body work and three days for color coat and then clear coat. Doing it at the GM dealer supposedly gives the repair a lifetime warranty on the repairs. I will feel lucky to get out of here by the end of the month.

    2. Yes, I remember reading about your knitted hats. That's why I asked if she made that hat. Bad timing that truck accident! Another one of those things we have to handle, though. If I remember correctly, both Gavin and his dad have birthdays in July. Hope you will make it for those celebrations!
